Now, here's the trick.go to your VS time line and click in the time line and the press the "Tab" button, this will activate the jog wheel in VS, so your Contour Shuttle will be able to jog as you intend.you will then be able to use your jog wheel very nicely. Then in the Shuttle Contol Panel click once in the "Keystroke" box, then press the right arrow if you slected the jog wheel right, left if you selected left. so for the jog wheel there is a small trick though to make it work.go into the shuttle pro control panel and jog the middle wheel to the right once and you will see that the "Jog Right" selection is present. Once the software is installed there are a few listings in the Shuttle Control Panel for Video Studio.but for some reason it defaults to VS 7, which is OK because you can change the customization as you see fit.

Hope this helps My keyboard shortcuts have control+k as the cut tool (Not sure if this is the default or if I have changed it) This is then mapped to a button in the Contour setup. I just opened VS X2 and started in on the customization for the Shuttle Pro V2. Just found this video that explains the hidden step to get the shuttle working with your apps.
